Prosthetic Finger
Introduction
Prosthetic finger with a simple transmission, composed by two cables: the first one closes the finger whilst the other one permits the natural extension. The used components are made in different materials to save weight, Aluminum alloys and reinforced polymers.

Technical features
Prosthetic finger with an anthropomorphic shape, designed with two transmission cables: the first to actuate and close the finger, and the second to permit the extension, once the actuation cable stops to apply its torque to the two joints. The first cable can be connected to an electric motor, placed inside a prosthetic hand, while the second cable is connected to an internal elastic component, like a spring. This kind of actuation allows the adaptive movement of the two joints, and consequently the entire finger.
