Introduction

Dissonance is a table lamp. The peculiarity of this lamp is that the lampshade is a second removable lighting body, in addition to the support. The removable shade allows the user to use it as a lantern. The upper-cone itself becomes consequently a source of light with the LEDs hidden inside.

Technical features

The lamp is made up of two main elements: the luminous element of the lampshade is designed in polycarbonate, or similar material, and houses the LED lighting device, a rotatable handle to be transported and the device for recharging.  The support is designed in aluminum and houses the base with the transformer, the recharging device and the second lighting fixture. The base element is designed in ABS and has a circular seat, or otherwise with a rounded profile, which houses the luminous element and includes the battery. This seat bears, in correspondence of its own perimeter surface in contact with the luminous element, an LED strip, which emanates a light of “courtesy” in the absence of said luminous element. In addition, the base has a mirrored front surface, thus integrating a function of merchandise products different from the lighting sector.
