Locking system for slackline
Introduction
The present invention consists of an innovative device for the assembly of the rodeolines and of the saglines, that is, of the slings mounted very loose with a minimum amount of tension. The product keeps the tape tight and prevents it from sliding on itself unrolling itself but remains a fixed length anchored to the support used (tree, pole …)

Technical features
Slackline is a sport that consists of walking and performing static and dynamic balance exercises on a synthetic fiber webbing placed between two supports (trees, poles, rocks …) more or less tense according to the different types of use. The product is a system that blocks the tape through the friction exercised by it during use, works a bit like the buckles that adjust the shoulder straps of the backpacks.At present there are no products specifically designed for this type of slackline. It is particularly innovative for the assembly of the rodeolines and the saglines, that is to say the tightly fitted slings with a minimum amount of tension. This means that the tape does not run on itself unrolling itself but remains a fixed length anchored to the support used (tree, pole …) thanks to the friction caused by the weight of the athlete who walks on it. It is also quite versatile, in fact, with due precautions, it can also be used for other types of assembly.
Possible Applications
- Slackline clamping;
- Clamping of fabric tapes.
Advantages
- Avoids using knots that ruin and decrease the resistance of the tape;
- Avoids having to climb on the support to carry out the anchorage, it allows, once mounted, an easy adjustment of the tension (and therefore of the length);
- Designed to withstand low voltages is very small and light.
